Electronic Waste Recycling for Residents Planned

Flemington Borough is introducing an electronic waste recycling service for Borough residents.
Four dates are set where residents can drop off items to be recycled at the Borough Road Garage, located at 8 Main St. (rear). The dates are Saturdays – March 12, June 11, September 10 and December 10. Hours are 10 a.m. to noon.
This service is for Borough residents only; proof of being a Borough resident will have to be shown when items are dropped off. Borough Public Works employees will be onsite to check residency and assist with unloading.
Microwaves, air conditioners and televisions are among the items that residents can recycle. Large appliances can also be recycled, with a limit of one refrigerator/freezer per address. Additional items that can be recycled are:
Portable/laptop computers; Fax machines; Telecommunications equipment; Stereos and Radio equipment; humidifiers; Monitors; Cable attachments; E-book readers; UPS/Battery backup; Scanners; Wire; Speakers; Dehumidifiers; Metal; Non-ferrous Metal; Cell phones and telephones; MP3 players; Printers; Keyboard and mice; Main frames; VCR/DVD players; Space heaters; Servers; Copiers; Cameras; and Modems.
