Flemington Borough Council is relocating its June 26, 2017 meeting, originally scheduled to be held at Borough Hall. The meeting instead will be held at the Historic Flemington Courthouse, 75 Main St.
The meeting will begin with a special executive session at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose of keeping the council apprised of negotiations among the borough, RTMUA, and the NJ DEP regarding the wet weather sewer facility.
A work session is planned for 7 p.m.; topics include designation of Purple Heart Community; Timing of school board elections; and Flemington-Raritan EMT demonstration of LUCAS Chest Compression System.
The regular council meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.; topics include awarding a contract for the East Main Street Road Improvement Project, and first reading of an ordinance making Park Avenue a one-way street northbound from the northern curbline of Corcoran Street to North Main Street.
Following that, another executive session is planned for a legal update on the hotel-area lawsuits and anything else that may be identified during the regular meeting.
