Residents who need home repairs and safety improvements may qualify for help from Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity, which serves Somerset and Hunterdon counties.
The group’s volunteers make home repairs or safety modifications so people can continue to live independently and safely in their homes. The program typically helps low-income homeowners including veterans, people with disabilities and seniors. Projects they’ve done include leaky roof repair, weatherization, exterior door repairs, handrail installation, widened doorways, and access ramps.
To learn more about the program, email Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity at: email@example.com, or call 908-704-0016, ext. 12. Provide your name, contact information and a brief description of your need, and a volunteer will contact you.
